I can eject from one ship, but the option to enter another is never
available. Any ideas how to do this?

you either have to eject in space and "spacewalk" to within like 2kms
of the ship you want to enter, or you can go buy a transporter device
at the Goner Temple in Cloudbase Northwest.

"space walk" to within 500m of the ship you want to enter (providing it's
yours!) and press shift-e

30m isn't it? (Unless you have teleport device)

Jp,

Assuming you used 'shift+E' to jump out of the first ship, you use the
same key combo to get back in. However, after you jump out, you must
target the ship you plan to enter. You then must also move within 50m
(or so. Not sure the exact distance. I just know it works at 50m or
less) before the key combo will work get you back in. Hope this
helps.

Oh, a couple tips: If you have version 1.2, don't jump out while in
the buildings. Screws up the screen bigtime. Get 1.3 if you plan on
jumping out in buildings. And, park your two ships as close as
possible before making the jump. Takes for ever to moto in that dang
slow space suit between ships. Also, you can upgrade your space suit
speed in the trading places... you just have to jump out of your ship
and hit enter to pull up the trader screen.
