Bronzebeard is down and as always when these things happen it is impossible
to connect to the WoW website for information.

The BBC can cope with 10 million hits a day on their main page - why can't
WoW at least have a very basic page with info on what is happening.

Loads of fancy and ugly gfx and lots of boring flashfiles on blizzard's
website? I'm looking forward for that day where it becomes trendy with
Lynx-friendly versions of heavy webpages.

Hello everyone,

At the moment we are experiencing login and authentication issues,
meaning that if you are disconnected, or newly trying to login to the game,
you will not be able to do so. We are working diligently to resolve this
issue as soon as possible so that you can all enjoy playing once again.

We apologise for this inconvenience, and hope you can bear with us for
now.

Thanks,

The Gamemaster Team

Edit: Correct date used!
Edit: It seems there are secondary issues, which we are now
investigating. We apologise for the wait time for many players, but we can
assure you we are doing all in our power to get these systems back as soon
as possible.
