I just read the World In Conflict review at tomshardware. I've never
tried what they call a "neo-RTS" title, and I was intrigued. It
doesn't look like much in the way of strategy, but seems to borrow
heavily from Company of Heroes - which is no bad thing.

Anyway, what struck me after reading the review was that it must have
pretty near zero replayability, for single player. I mean, the same
campaign with the same missions in the same order every time? No
options to start with different strengths or weaknesses, no branches
in the plot to speak of. And nowhere did it say you can play as the
Russians and complete the invasions of Europe and the US. There wasn't
even any mention of mods or fan-made missions, though I guess it's too
early for that.

Did I miss something? Would anyone who liked this game care to comment
on its replayability (leaving MP aside)?

Just curious,

CC

I was wondering about that myself. I could find no mention of a sandbox mode
in any review.

Yeah, once you finish, there's nothing really to compel you to fire it up
again. Still, it was a smashing game!
