quoted from WhatsNew.txt in the decursive add-on package.

Changes from Decursive 1.9.8.4 to 2.0 ALPHA 1

- This is a very early version of Decursive 2.0, I couldn't access to
the PTR until last week... Only the live-list display is available,
de-cursing has been disabled (in WoW 2.0, Add-ons cannot cast spells
nor select targets for you)
- Decursive is now an Ace2 add-on and is being rewritten using Ace
libraries (libraries are embedded).

- In next versions, I'll try to keep Decursive useful, de-cursers will
have to be organized and choose who they will cure, Decursive will be a
helper, displaying the portraits of the units you choose to cure with
Colors and shortcuts to dispel them... That's the project for now Smile

NOTE that I didn't have the opportunity to test Decursive live-list
Display in raid... It should work though *crossing fingers*

Changes from Decursive 1.9.8.3 to 1.9.8.4

- Fix syntax for compatibility with BC and LUA 5.1.1
- Huge memory usage improvement, Decursive re-uses tables and uses the
Compost ACE2 library so Decursive uses 0.0 Kib/s when idle or in
action.
- Improved CPU usage, it should be minimum.

After BC Decursive may no longer be used while in combat, it will just
tell you who you SHOULD de-curse but won't be able to target or cast
for you...
It may still work out of combat but it's not certain at this stage.
Blizzard has made big changes in the game play so de-cursing without
Decursive may not be as boring as it used to be...

end quote.

Agreed.
Is there a 2.0-compatible version of ora2 out?
Where can I get it?

Nope, it happend. Decursive is gone. Yes, there is a "Decursive
continued" available. It works. It's only effect though is to display
who's in need of a dispel. It can't do it anymore and won't be able to -
ever again.

I think with the changes there's no need for decursive anymore.

Just get Clique and an appropriate unitframe mod -- bind your right
clicks to decurse. And watch as people are being cursed so you can
single click and decurse them.

yes there is. I got mine from the wowace site. CTRA is completely messed up
right now - it causes massive lag every time someone joins or dies, the
tank display doesn't work, and half the people don't see ready checks and
other stuff. We switched to oRA2 in the middle of a raid last night, and
while it takes a lot of getting used to, I like it. *

We did a raid on ZG last night using CTRA 1.6 and everything went
smoothly. No CTRA problems anyway, Mandokir still kicked our butts.
Ding indeed.

I'd rather file my teeth, but I've stopped playing now.

Many AddOns have been updated meanwhile. Check all different sites for
real updates. Here is a short list:

http://www.wowace.com/files/ (allways newest links - ALL 2.0 ready!)
http://fs3.wowinterface.com/the_list.html (again... 2.0 ready list)
http://www.curse-gaming.com/ (no quick list so far)

It's the easiest and safest way to find updates at the moment... so
simply check those out.

You can also visit http://www.krishnak.de/?page_id=115 (german) if you
want to download my collection of updated addons. But that's only a
small bunch used myself.

I was recently introduced to an addon called HealBot, which I quite
like.

It shows health bars for your raid/party (customisable), and you can
assign different spells to left/right clicks on the bards and
shift/ctrl/alt clicks too. The healthbars can change colour on
debuffs, so I found Chromaggus surprisingly straighforward: configure
HealBot to just show the groups I should be able to see, then when
someone's bar turns blue (magic debuff) I just alt-right-click their
bar, when it turns yellow (disease) I just alt-left-click their bar.
Other various clicks to cast different healing spells.

On the downside, HealBot lacks (to the best of my knowledge) any way
to indicate out-of-range players, there doesn't appear to be a way to
manually show/hide the HealBot window, and it could also do with a
scaling option (the window's a little too large for me). If you can
live with those issues I'd recommend taking a look at it.
