For an additional WTF take a look at the newly redesigned interfaces for
either O&O Defrag or Raxco PerfectDisk. Apparently they think we want to
spend half out screen on a bloated, useless *ribbon* instead of a nice
compact little menu. Raxco just came out with their new version a few
days ago and I was "what the...did they just copy O&O Defrag or
something?" O&O said their latest version (they went from 8.* to 10 some
time back) offered no improvements to the actual defrag engine. The only
changes made were to the interface.
Apparently some companies will follow Redmond over any cliff no matter how
high.

Actually I was referring to the imminent internal restructuring of
Microsoft that will be happening soon. The Yahoo deal is a separate
