Theres a catch. you need a credit card. They don't tell you this until
after they get your personal information though. Sounds familiar...
Oh yeah Soe did the same thing. Wow Soe actually did something
original unlike the current con system and the character selcet screen
(Wow-like I'm told).
So you can tell the GM next time you speak to them.. lol... that they
better fix your problem right or you going to get the Wow Trial
account. |

(in the UK), a friend bought us both a copy of the WoW 14 day Trial
dvd, in the HMV sale for £1.49 - no credit info needed.
Its been the best £1.49 spent ever.
The only limits appear to be max lvl 20, & that you cannot trade with
other players, or talk in certain chat channels. |

I _was_ refering to the teaser.wow-europe.com offer, and I haven't had
to enter any CC details to take advantage of the trial.
As you're posting from the US, I guess you don't get the same "free"[1]
trial as we do in europe. You really do only need a valid email address
to get a free trial key.

I've just been playing the game and I've never given any CC details.

I'm still a bit puzzled.
I got myself a trial key, played for 10 days, then bought the retail
game and entered the key for the free month, and still haven't entered
any Credit Card details. Presumably they changed it at some point.

dmg/delay question - So not really understanding the mechanics behind this topic I have a simple question. Current weapon is 36/40 (dmg/delay). If I change to a 32/36 will my DPS be effected overall? It's a drop of 4 on both sides so usually 4=4 but ... I just like the..
