Post subject: Sims 2 and Windows Vista problem??
Archived from groups: alt>games>the-sims-2 (more info?)

I bought a new computer for the youth center I manage, which of course
came with Windows Vista. Experimenting with it at home, I installed
Sims 2 but when I tried to play, a message came up advising that the
program had known compatibility issues and that I should go online for
the fix. I didn't want to use my personal passwords and ISP to go
online with a computer that isn't mine (maybe this is paranoia on my
part), but was wondering if folks are still having problems with Vista
and Sims, and if Microsoft does provide an online solution.

Our home computers still have XP (and will for the forseeable future!).
