Hi all. Just for information. I have been 'playing' with Windows Vista
beta and tried to get TTD working with it. I got an error message to say
that TTDLOADW.OVL could not find dplay.dll. I obtained a copy of this file
from the internet and put it in windows\system32 but got he same result. I
suppose it could have been the wrong version.

Is anyone else trying Vista beta and have got TTD working?

Bob

It should work if you look for dplayx.dll on your system, and copy that as
dplay.dll into the TTD folder.

Thanks. I have now restored winxp from my ghost image, but will make a note
for if I decide to go with Vista in the future. I honestly cannot see any
tangible benefit over xp.
