| I would like to try Starcraft but see all the versions on ebay are for
windows 95 or 98 or nt 4.0 and macintosh 7.6 or higher. I have Windows XP.
Can anyone confirm or deny that one of those ebay versions will work for me?
Thanks.

It's the same game
Even Diablo I will still install - but you need to download a patch to
access battle.net
Starcraft is a more recent game than that.
However, buying a copy off e-bay runs some risk that your key will be in
use - rendering your purchase pointless. I wouldn't take the risk -
just buy it at the store. Only original starcraft has a key - you
don't have to worry about a key for broodwar.

Yeah, I'd wager a new copy of the SC battlechest wouldn't run for more
than 10-15 bucks at retail this point in time. >> Stay informed about: Starcraft on WinXP |

Hey don't worry.
IT doesn't matter to work on your computer.
Window XP is enough to play Starcraft.
