AVSIM featured an item today on FSWidgets, using a moving map from
Google Maps. Freeware.

The price was right. My initial download didn't perform, and customer
service at FSWidgets in Oz-land was absolutely superb analyzing and
fixing the problem. (A conflicting Logitech webcam file).

Now I can go chasing up and down our local road system in an
Ultralight without getting lost!

Can this Map thingy be used over a network, i.e. using FSUPIC? I like to
keep a moving map on a laptop meanwhile flying the sim on the big desktop.
