Calm down and read the PDF patch documentation ;o)
It's possible and very easy to run WITP windowed, I do it all
the time, just add -w as command line argument in the shortcut you use
to start the game. So, the line should read:
"D:\War in the Pacific\War in the Pacific.exe" -w -altFont
-deepColor
As you see I use -altFont and -deepColor options as well (self
explanatory). Alt Font uses sans serif fonts in the game which IMO
look better.
