Hello,

I read the 6100_faq, and I am pretty sure I have a dead heater in my tube
(my meter read 'open' across pins 9 and 10 of the tube neck) in my Tempest.
The .pdf states this is bad.

I was reading some of the past posts (specifically one on 6/12/06 which
mentions a 6100 driving a 25" tube), and it brought up the question - is it
possible to find a replacement tube in which the neck pins would match?
Could I go to a local television repair shop and see if they have a " fill
in the blank " picture tube? I don't know if I could do all the convergence
stuff.

If there is no alternative other than an original tube and neck, does anyone
have a working WG 6100 Tube?

Thank you,
Bill

A quick search in Google Groups will give you all the info that you
need.
