Post subject: Weird Sound Prob - PS3

Greets
Something weird has happened to the sound on GTA4. When I resumed play
today there is no speech coming through the centre speaker (e.g. hail a
taxi - no whistling, buy a hotdog - no request, bump into people in the
street - no chatter). Everything is fine from the front left/right and rear
speakers and the speech comes through during cutscenes.
Tried starting a brand new game and the problem is still there.
I played a DVD and BR disc and it's all ok so my equipment hasn't died.
Anyone experience this?
Is there a way to 'uninstall' GTA and reinstall?

I've deleted the game data and re-installed but the problem is still there.
Help!

Looks like my darling 3yr old daughter pressed a couple of butons on the
front of the amp! All sorted.
