Warning to all Oblivion players - Stay away from Two World..

So I purchased this new game. The box looked great, reminded me of
Oblivion. Then I read "Like Oblivion on steroids", I had to have it. I put
down $49.94, and anxiously went home with my new game - Two Worlds PC Game
from South Peak.

Well - it would not spin up in my TDK dvd-rw, it just set their and made
funny noises, click-click-click as the laser reset itself. Well that's not
good, all my other games run fine on this drive. So I slip it into my
Pioneer dvd-rw and get it to install.

Then I went to play the game. Sorry, you have to register the product to
have it run. WHAT! I can't even run the program without calling in or
logging onto a server? Well that might be OK today, but what about 1 or 2
years from now?! That pissed me off, nowhere - NOWHERE on the outside of
its box do I remember that activation was required before the game could be
played in single-user-mode. I am not a happy camper.

Well, the game is running, I'm wasting my time listening to npg's telling me
stuff I already forgot just to get to the first combat. And guess what, my
mouse buttons don't work. DEAD - nothing. Perhaps the fact that I remapped
the keyboard to use the numerical keypad for actor movement caused the
problem, so I set the keyboard back to default and sure enough the mouse
started to work again. Do I have mouse assignment ability - NO! Do I get
to layout my keyboard and mouse like I do with every other game I have ever
used - NO!

That was enough, I took the game back to the store and got my money back.
For what I saw, this game was a second rate knock off of Oblivion. And I
hold Oblivion in much higher esteem then ever before. It is not only the
game itself, the story line, but the look-and-feel, the development of the
rendering engine, the detail to input device handling, and trust in the
users of the game that makes me appreciate Oblivion - The Elders Scrolls
development team even more.

Two Worlds -- doesn't run well in all DVD's, doesn't do a keyboard/mouse
remap well, terrible DRM, lousy game play. A rip-off of Oblivion. The
reviews from the on-line mages are a joke. Be warned.
