If it wasn't already pretty much decided that Bluray is the next
generation movie format, Walmart decided to drop HD-DVD. Target,
Walmart, Netflix. Yep, that's pretty much it. Sorry for Toshiba...
that's a lot of $$$ down the drain.

And now it's officially over. When the biggest retail store backs you the
competition no longer exist. Toshiba will either have a massive fire sale or
just announce they are pulling the plug and now releasing a BluRay player
