Patch won't install on Vista RC2 due to low Diskspace - Hi I installed WOW on Vista RC2 and it seems to run, but of course i have to install the latest Patch. Blizzard Updater says i have to less 1.7GB needed, free 0.0. I have at least 20GB free on each of the two I still have XP as..

Banned, deleted, renamed, moved? - Just attempted to mail one of my guildies and the server tells me that a character of that name does not exist. I checked the guild listing and he's not there either. I assumed this meant he had deleted his toon, until a fellow guildie told me he has.

Works fine, don't worry about it. However, RC2 is the latest build and
doesn't reflect the finished version of Windows.. it will get better then it
is now.

Oh, and run in fullscreen mode, you may be a performance hit from the new
GUI if your gfx card isn't very fast.

If we look at the MS OS history, then the RC2/3 will run better than the
Final. Then when SP1 get out, the preformance and stability is increased
again to be better than the previous versions.

He can just disable then new GUI and use the same as XP. It might even
be a good idea to make a gaming profile.

From reports I heard it works well and without a problem. However, as
with everything on Vista, it runs slower due to Vistas hardware hunger.

So it makes no sense to go to vista for performance reasons, but if you
have to upgrade, it will still run.
