OK, anyway, I'm running Vista x64... after much work and beta drivers,
I can get Tribes 1 to run to the main menu... after that, it is
unresponsive to the mouse and keyboard; it just sits at the menu.

Any advice, other than "don't run software written 10 years ago on
cutting edge hardware"?

Oh, and does anyone know where one can find the Tribes 2 client? I've
lost all 3 of my discs along the way O_o I've re-ordered a new copy
(shipping cost 3x more than the game, heh), but I want to get cracking
on the project I'm working on.

Once again, cheers.

Right-click the exe in Explorer and fiddle with the compatibility settings.
I'm trying to set up a new box for my mom to maybe play WoW and just got
that advice from the Blizzard support forum from another player. Something
about not letting desktop settings get applied to the game. (Recall that
Aero uses the 3D part of the video card, so there's probably no longer a
mode switch between 2D and 3D when playing a game. They share the same
hardware now.)
