Roy if the window is too small as you report, look in the upper right hand
corner of the window. You see the three, typical Microsoft icons to
minimize(the minus sign), maximize (the square), or close the window(the X).
If you click the square, the window will maximize to fill the screen, but
you will still be in windowed mode and can still see the menu bar at top.
Some here, report getting better frame rates in windowed mode. I tried both
ways and see no difference if FPS, so I never use windowed mode. And boB's
post demonstrates how you can make the screen the size you want by dragging
the corner. In full screen mode, I frequently change the size of the
instrument panel by placing the mouse at the bottom edge of the panel until
the cursor changes to a vertical line with arrows at each end. I then hold
down the left mouse button and move the cursor upward, which drags the
bottom of the instrument panel with it. This reduces the height of the
instrument panel. I then click on the panel and drag the whole panel down
to the lower edge of the screen. I'm short and have problems seeing over
the top of the panel when landing. heehee. Changing the seat height causes
the view to shift too much, and this resizing technique is a bit less
drastic. Unless I save the flight, the panel reverts back to the default
size the next time I load the plane so no harm is done to the panel . . .
and no animals are hurt in the experiment.
