Archived from groups: alt>games>microsoft>flight-sim (more info?)

Video recording is a versatile feature of FS2004

Each record is kept as a .FSR File that contains flight parameter (speed,
heading, alt, climb/desct rate, bank. power settings ect) and aircraft
konfiguration (gear up/down, speed brakes ect)

This .FSR file can be sent as an e-mail attachment.
So one can demonstrate conduct of flight to a partner

In case the opponent is using same aircraft and mesh/scenery he does "see"
all the same.
It's even possible to go online (VATSIM, IVAO) with a video recording.

The advantage against a video clip is, the partner/student can
overtake/continue in any stage of the flight.

Regretfülly FS2004 Video Recording seems to have a bug: flap settings are
not properly recorded.

Any comments?
