Vehicles???

Do you have Nightlife? Cars came with Nightlife.

I have nightlife and have cars, but I have trouble adding driveways to
most houses. It keeps saying I am outside the lot or something like
that, even when I clear enough room for the entire driveway to fit on
the lot.

Make sure there is nothing in the way, see that the terrain is level where
the driveway will be, and don't be using the MoveObjects on cheat. Other
than that, I don't know what else might be causing problems for you. A hack
conflict maybe?

Try placing the driveways with 'moveobjects on' on, but remember that this
can cause some funny graphics and that if you use this workaround to bypass
something being in the way of the driveway the something will be in the way
of the car and the sim and may stop proper use of the vehicle in any case.

You can also go to the official Maxis site and download a Mustang that works
without Nightlife (you also have to download a couple other files for the
driveway and such, but on the same page).
