Are the number of moves stored anywhere the player can view them?
The manual didn't mention it. Also, a undo last move command is
available in Sokoban, with the analogue control mistakes can
happen a bit easier, so it would have been great to have that.

There is a typo in the manual on the second page ('access' is mispelled)

Sokoban is a great game to copy and I'm glad it has the minimal design.
If the codes for each of the first 40 levels are unique to the cartridge
then that is even cooler.

Hi, how's it going with the repro cart cases ?

If the quality and price are good I'm definitely up for ordering some.

Hello SDF poster,
I doubt very much if there are individual password codes for each
level that differ per cartridge.
By the way what level are you now on? I haven't had it too long, and
am currently only at level 10. My problem is I always forget to wirte
down the passwords or don't always have a pen to hand, and end up
having to go through all the levels again when I play again the next
day!
I'm not having problems with the analogue control...however, I do find
it difficult to read some of the password characters...I've got 100%
vision by the way so its not me.

Martijn is making this an unlimited release so the passwords are the
same on every cartridge. I understand why you might want them unique,
but it would be an extra time and consideration for every one made. I
can at least assure you that all the levels are beatable (as I helped
playtest the game) although they do start to get somewhat tricky by
the end.

Part of the problem level wise was the strain on the Vectrex display.
There is only so much it can do hence the use of these designs was
quite perfect for the needs of the machine.

Yes, and you can always do what they say when they show the latest
football results on TV - look away if you don't want to see the latest
scores.... in this case look away if the passwords are listed Smile

Yes, indeed, and for those that want to achieve all the levels
themselves, they can always do what they suggest when they read out
the latest football scores - look away!

I think that would have been so clever to have that done. Otherwise,
all the passcodes are going to be posted fairly quickly.

I'm on 15 or 16 I believe (eiqq). I started making a habit of writing
them down and like you found some of them hard to read plus there button
setup is a bit undocumented, but the puzzles have been pretty fun so far.
An undo last move would really be great as well as number of moves/pushes
per puzzle (a huge part of scoring in sokoban).

The PCB can fit in a cartridge as well, which is nice. Hopefully the
label artwork will be made available too.

Did you beat Bonus/Unlock Code 1 - Stage 3? Did anyone beat that
one? It is driving me insane, I just can't seem to figure it out.

It's possible, I beat all 70 levels during playtesting. Have to go
back and check which one this is before providing a helpful hint on
the solution...

It does say in the manual that there will be other passcodes available
later Wink

Oh, now there are 70 levels, not 50? I wonder how many more undocumented
secrets lie waiting in that huge fricken chip. I thought that 40-50
levels could have left it fairly empty, but maybe there is some other
bonus items in there. I'll keep looking. BTW, has anyone tried guessing
passcodes? Smile try it.
