Wo-oh. Im a vamp.
I had no idea i was even infected, till i slept of course. I dont mind it
all that much, its still a relitively new concept to me, plus the nighteye
power is really great. I started the cure quest, and you need 5 empty Grand
Soul Gems!!! FIVE!!! I managed to break into the display case in the Chorral
mage guild (i am a member) and got 4, but olny 2 were empty.
My question is; is there another good spot to get grad soul gems? where? I
think it may be the arcane uni, but i have only completed 2 recommendadtions
so far... so im a while off it.
Also, what are the effects of being a vampire? I understand there are
various stages, and eventually you smoke in the sun? But it usually comes
with something nice too - so what are the effects as you go without blood?
Like i said, i am in no real rush to get rid of it so far, it is actually
pretty cool. But it would be comforting to know that the cure is in my
inventory just in case! (if it comes in a bottle).
In the same place i became a vampire (some fort between Chorral and
Hackdirt) i found an interesting bottle of wine. It is a quest, though i am
not sure what will be of it - nothing has happened so far. Do i sell it to
learn more about it or something? |

Arcane Supply, in the Imperial C market will sell them, eventually. But
you may need to wait until you level up a bit.

If it's what I think it is... ask all the inkeepers you find. Oneof them
is a wine lover. I could telll you the way to find the inn... but I'll
leave you spoiler-free for now.

No idea but I've got some also and the "hint" in my journal to look for
more. I'm going to GUESS there is a wine collector somewhere who will
pay good money for the stuff. Hmm, maybe around Skingrad, they grow

I always stayed away from this quest, just because it is/was bugged - fish
under the landscape/rocks. But sinse downloading the patch, i would be
surprised if the patch doesnt fix this, so i FINALLY have to give it a go.
As for my vamp, its all good. She is on the way to finding 5 grand sould
gems either buying then or finding them. However, i think ill stay vamp for
a while, so long as i dont sleep i have a cool 1st lvl vamp power, and
increased stats, AND i can still talk to people. And when i need to slep,
ill make sure its nighttime at around 2am and bite someone so that i still
look 'normal' when i wake up.

Awesome. Ill check out the Inn and hopefuly start another really cool misc
quest. Its funny that im lvl8, and only so far done 1 fighter guild quest
and 2 mage recommendations, plus all of those misc quests in the city. now
this vamp quest!
PS, the misc quest for the argonian mage in bravil is to die for. Cool

For me it was simple, just killed one fish and the marker pointed to the next.
One fish on a rock but all fish were killable.
