Yes, I know VTM:B is supposed to be buggy Wink

Has anyone encountered, or even better encountered a fix for, the following problem?
When moving around in game, the controls will become sticky. What this
means is that, if I hold W down to move forward, I will (sometimes)
continue to move forward for about 10 metres even after releasing the W
key. Same things with A, S and D for strafing and reversing.

At the moment I'm coping with it but it's only a matter of time before
this happens near to a precipice or fire or some other hazard!

I've just reinstalled this game and the fault, which was there the last time
I played it, is no longer there. I'm playing with the V1.2 patch and with
Werner's 2.8 patch on top of that.

However the fix is easy - run the game in 98/Me compatability mode. But I
recommend the two patches.

I do have the 1.2 and 2.8 patches in FWIW.
I just tried the compatability mode fix and it worked like a charm.
A great game just got better!
