VC can't set Resolution

Hi

I tried to play VC since a long time, but the game crashes
when I try to change the resolution. I don't see an error
but Taskmanager says there is a window called "unhandled exception".
I already reinstalled the game and deleted the settings-file
tried patched and unpatched......... nothing.
This has worked on this machine, I think it is something
with newer ATI-Drivers, but don't want to go back to older
ones just to play a little VC. I picked a older settings-file
with a higher resolution and the resolution is working, but I still can't
change it. I want to set it to 1280*1024. Is this a known problem? Is there
some solution.

Try deleting the gta_vc.set file. Then set the resolution.
