At least the UK is, as most countries in western Europe, expensive
compared to the US. So you'd lose probably 1/3 of your money due to the
exchange rate. While in South America and other "poor" countries you
"win" some value.

One interesting thing is the "Big Mac Index". Since McDonald's is
virtually everywhere you can compare the prices. At
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Mac_Index> you can see some examples of
how much a Big Mac would cost, compared to the USD, in different
countries. As you can see the most expensive countries are all more or
less in Europe.

If I could go elsewhere easily I'd like to see Japan. The guys seem to
be nuts for high tech consumer articles. They got cell phones America or
Europe won't see in years. Then they still have Pachinko Parlors with
tons of video games and likely pinball machines (though Stern seems to be
the sole manufacturer left). Sony, Sega and Nintendo are founded in
Japan, so this is the heart of all we need. Smile

Australia would be nice too I guess (Lob, any comment?).
