After so many people were helpful in suggestions for raising money for my
son's birthday, I thought you might be interested in an update. We managed
to raise over 4g by selling linen and disenchanting mats, so we gave him 2g
(holding 2 in reserve for his sister's bday in Oct), a green wand, and a
mechanical squirrel. This happened the same weekend so many realms had
crashes, and the mail was stuck... so he didn't get them until several days
later.
He was thrilled, and he also got a certificate for as much play time as he
wanted for one day. I played with him, and we had a great time!
