Hi!
I don't know if enyone's already encountered this problem, but that's
what occurred to me: I've installed all TS2 EP, including family fun
stuff. I've created a couple of young adults on the university lot,
moved them in a dorm, made them choose their majoring and started them
studying and attending class... but as I make them improve their
abilities, I've found out that it doesn't affect their score bar,
which doesn't become higher! What should I do?
Thank you for your help,
Elanor >> Stay informed about: University problem |

Do you mean the score bar doesn't increase in capacity or they don't seem to
increase the score in it?
Best wishes

If the score bar is a tiny oval within a larger one, your Sims need to do
some skills studying. Take a look at the skills bars, and observe the skill
areas that have little ovals encircling them. They must get at least the
oval filled in before the student bars will advance to the next allowable
level. For example, if your Students have majored in Drama, they will need
x many creativity points before the bar "stretches" to allow more
assignments to count as marks.

The lot is bugged. Go to the library and study there to check. The same
thing happened to me. It only affected new arrivals but I bulldozed
anyways. >> Stay informed about: University problem |

I know that, and even if I make them increase their ability levels,
the score bar doesn't begin a bigger oval to fill in, but it remains
little, and consequently it stays red forever...
Yet I just let them study and do their homework, and even if the bar
has not changed at all they even managed to get the highest scores at
the exam! So, I assume that the university score bar isn't working
just apparently, not a big deal then, I just wonder why! >> Stay informed about: University problem |

Are you using a no-CD patch? I had the same result when I tried one.
Every other part of the game worked fine, but their University bars
wouldn't go up. I just uninstalled the patch and ran off the CD and it
was fine again.

Yes, that's more or less what those threads say. Irritating bug though.
