Questions about Universities

What do you mean 'now'? We've always been able to have all three
universities attached to a neighbourhood.

But to answer your question, if you have say La Fiesta attached to
Strangetown and La Fiesta attached to Pleasantville, they are two separate
copies of the same university attached to each neighbourhood - they are not
the same place. And your sims will not be able to meet and marry.

Thank you Jeanie and maxon for clearing this up to me. I think what confused
me was the fact I kept seeing an Alien female in the student bin and since
it's been so long since I played Strangeville, I guess I thought I had added
her from Strangeville. I went into the game, checked all Universities with
each neighborhood and students in the student bin and you both were right! I
was wrong. I did notice though that she didn't show up in the Strangeville
student bin so I'm guessing she's a maxis made alien student and suppose to
blend in with Pleasantville and/or Veronaville. I'll check some more later
and see if she's going to be like some more Maxis made sims who end up in
more than one neighborhood. Not sure if this makes sense cause to tell the
truth, at the moment, it's not making sense to me either. haha Oh well, I'll
find out more when I do some more researching. I really don't play
University much except with sims I make and hadn't really been paying much
attention to those students that maxis plopped into the student bin.

She comes with Fiesta Tech, I think. And she should definitely be in the bin
if you have attached all three unis to the hood.
