With the aid of the teenamator I've married off one of my teens and they are
living with her parents at present
What I want to do is send him off to university and register for a major and
then get her to invite him over and propose he moves in.
My question is, if he moves back home will he still go to classes and do his
assignments etc or do they have to be on the university lot?
I know I can move her into one of the houses at university but I want to
keep him at home for the duration.

They have to be on a University lot. If he moves back home he will grow up
and have the 'dropped out of college' memory (or whatever it is). Students
can't live in the main neighbourhood - it's simply not allowed. It must be
something to do with the way the game is set up.

However, if you have one of the later versions of InTeen you should be able
to set up home on campus as that hack allows the college sim to have a
family resident in a University neighbourhood. I can tell you it does work
ok. One of my sims, Janet Syrus accidentally got pregnant while in her
second year at uni - I forgot to turn on the birth control feature (oops).
Henry Vaughan, the father, and at university himself, was mortified -
'OMIGOD!' he said when she produced the first bump - his twin Horace just
rolled his eyes. Janet gave birth in her dorm and one of the Maxis NPC
students moved out so that little Samuel could have a room of his own.
Henry liked Samuel after that, BTW. Then she moved out herself with Henry
and the baby and into a rented house on campus. Then Henry's Grandma moved
in with them to look after the baby while Janet and Henry finished their
education and then Granny, Janet and Samuel moved back to the main
neighbourhood (Samuel crawled to the edge of the lot and left by the
pedestrian portal) - Henry was a year behind Janet and still hasn't quite
finished off. They will marry when he graduates - if I'd married them
before, he would age to adult and again would drop out of college. I don't
know if the same will happen with your pre-married teens - you could try it
and see if it works. You might find they age up as soon as they get there.
In that case, exit without saving and unmarry them with SimPE. Unless Jase
has changed that part of the hack - but I don't think he has.

Best wishes

Thanks for that.
BTW I married two grads off before whilst they were at uni and moved them
out into one of the houses and they were alright.
Did the same as you and got his mother to move in with them until they
graduated.

Ah right - well you may be able to marry on campus to another student, but I
think if you married a student to someone living in the main neighbourhood,
you would find the student would move in, age up and drop out (and then
whine forever about the bad memory).

Best wishes
