I don't really understand attack power. I have the new 3-piece undead
slaying set, and I put it on for killing undead, but I'm not sure if
it's worth it, as I go down to 2 pieces of Elements from 4. Are the
attack power bonuses worth it, and what is attack power anyway?

Phil.

The set seems like utter poop to me, Don't know if it would really be
worth it for any build, surely even an Attack power orientated build
who happens to fight undead a lot could find gear which just gives
+attack (not only to undead) to the same amount.

I stand corrected /bow still i don't rate the whole vs. undead and vs.
demons thing (not sure if it exists here but it did on diablo 2) as it
just means yet another set of clothing to lug around. still i only play
casters so it's of no relevance to me anyway

It's a very good set for killing undead, at least if your normal gear is
blue, probably tier 2 epic geared people wouldn't see any point but it's
not aimed at them. I've got 2 of the pieces on my rogue and they offer
similar or better stats than my existing items do:

Wristwraps of Undead Slaying
Binds when equipped
Wrist Leather
77 Armor
+10 Stamina
Durability 35 / 35
Requires Level 58
Equip: +45 Attack Power when fighting Undead.

vs

Darkmantle Bracers
Binds when picked up
Wrist Leather
79 Armor
+7 Strength
+15 Agility
+7 Stamina
Durability 35 / 35

45 attack power and 10 stamina against 22 attack power and 7 stamina (plus
0.5% crit 1% dodge) means undead slaying are clearly better. I have a +9
stamina enchant on the darkmantle bracers which balances it a little but
I'd still choose to wear the undead slaying ones in Strat or Scholo or
grinding scourgestones. I'd be sorry to lose the 1% dodge, as I'm a fan of
dodge, but the attack power wins for me.

and

Handwraps of Undead Slaying
Binds when picked up
Hands Leather
110 Armor
+15 Stamina
Durability 35 / 35
Equip: +60 Attack Power when fighting Undead.

vs

Devilsaur Gauntlets
Binds when equipped
Hands Leather
103 Armor
+9 Stamina
Durability 35 / 35
Requires Level 53
Equip: +28 Attack Power.
Equip: Improves your chance to get a critical strike by 1%.

6 more stamina, 32 more attack power, but loses 1% crit chance. I
personally don't rate crit much, I'm not a daggers rogue so only have about
20% crit anyway and I'd take the attack power over it any day. Again my
normal gloves are enchanted, this time with +7 agility, but it still
doesn't make them better against undead.

And if you get the 3 piece set bonus (I never got the chestpeice) you get a
2% increase in damage v undead. There's no way you couldn't call that good.

I don't rate it much myself, it's a right pain carrying extra gear around,
but these were free (or very cheap, bought the bracers for 5g) and a
significant improvement, so worth it in my opinion. Although of course I've
had absolutely no cause to use them since getting them Smile

Some nice tips

as for twinking, loads of money to be made on my server.
A player offered 500G for an assasination blade a few days ago
(level 19 blue).

Crazy money but 10-19 doesnt seem to have anything but blue boe equipped
duel crusader wielding players now.
