Nothing great. The huge robot monster thing you can sit in is pretty
cool, but other than that it is just like the last one. Seems it could
have been done in a few months with a mod team. A small mod team.

Same weapons, same vehicles etc. I guess they make these for the engine
and make money off of that, and not the game itself.

To tell you the truth the only reason I'm waiting for it is to get access to
the newer version of UnrealEd. The old version is from 2000 or some ungodly
time. Plus the arcane keyboard shortcuts made even the hardest of hardcore
programmer nerds at my school swear like a 11-year-old Catholic schoolgirl.
Ctrl-S to subtract a volume, not save the level you were working on... WTF?
Even little kids in small rural villages in Africa know Ctrl-S is "Save".

They had better come out with a Linux version or I won't be buying it.
No way I'm upping W2K to vista. No way in hell.

They will lose a ton of sales if they neglect Linux users. Linux also is
serving up the online gaming.

The server is out AFAIK.

And as for a client it is coming but not in the Box from day one!

On the up side there is hope of UnrealEd running on Linux sometime in a
not so distant future.

Sorry but no they won't.

Most Linux users I know has a Windows system for gaming - it is either
that or they don't game at all. It's no different than me writing this
on my Mac but also having a PC for the games.

I would love for Windows to go away - being an IT developer properly
more than most actually - but it won't happen Sad

Kind regards
