The processor is pretty weak too. It will bottleneck there. UT is a very
taxing game on your CPU. Upgrading there will help more than anything.

THX for you replys.
In the earlier times i could get UT work when i downgraded the graphics or
physics, but now it seems to that it wont work cause i even cant start it.

huh, very frustrating, cause i got no money to upgrade my machine.

Very sad this something. - I love this game.

This would make about 300 Euros to get a medium Machine to have it even
working. Huh- enough for a favorite game and too much for me now.

I gotta wait another year.

If you post some detailed specs about the motherboard and ram you have
in your machine I am pretty we can help you with hardware upgrade
suggestions that are a lot less than those 300€.

Upgrading will not make you machine into a new one but your hardware is
old enough that replacing the CPU and graphics card could be done for
very little money while it will still provide a pretty good boost in
performance. Like a mentioned in my earlier post a new graphics card
could turn out to be less than the game itself and the same thing
actually goes for the CPU.

Hi, thx for your reply.

As i posted before: GForce 4280 equal to 4200 with 64Mb. Athlon Sempron
2500 (or on other machine XP1800) OS: winXP uptodate... with 500Mb Ram.

I tried it with an Ati Card with 128 MB, sorry, dunno which one, but seemed
to be to weak.- didnt work.

Huh, thats my prob. gotta earn money to get a machine to get this thing
running. sadly.

nore, i am upset, cause when i bought 2k3 or 2k4, i could play it. i just
downgraded physics or graphics, but i could play it and it made fun.

Now i am ordered to upgrade my hardstuff...

I'm surprise you can run XP on 512 mb ram!
Read UT3 box for minimum requirement.
