I have an XP machine running on a 64 bit 3200+, 1GB 3200, and 6600GT
128MB. Do you think upgrading my RAM to 2GB and upgrading my GPU to
something else that I could avoid replacing my entire motherboard just
to upgrade my CPU to run UT 2k7? I could even deal with 8x6 resolution
with medium graphics.

Also, if it's possible to go this route what AGP-based GPU do you
recommend I replace my 6600 GT with?

I realize this is all speculation at this point, but I'd like to hear
your opinion. Thanks.

I'd guess that you would be fine at a medium(ish) setting. Stepping up to a
7xxx series card would do you a lot of good, but then you might be looking
at PCI-E. Go for it though, because playing at a max res with 150 FPS just
plain rocks.
