UT2004 Keep getting kicked from all net servers

Post subject: UT2004 Keep getting kicked from all net servers

Hi folks,

I'm getting real frustrated with UT2004.

I have UT2004 patched to version 3369 with XP SP2.

Also got a 8Meg ADSL line with average 60ms - 100ms ping.

Everytime I connect to a net server it plays fine then either;

kicks me after approx. 10 seconds

OR

Game kinda hangs/stalls/freezes. Can still drive/fly/run but no
shooting.

Any ideas?

Could it be the CD key has been stolen? Game was purchased new from
amazon.

Do you get a message when you're kicked?

A lot of problems are fixed by uninstall/reinstall.

No messages, just get kicked. The admins have no idea.

I will try reinstalling UT2004.

You *might* get an idea by looking at your log file. It's called
UT2004.log and can be found in the System folder.

Probably packet loss on your local or wide aria network

delete your ut2004.ini and user.ini files and restart ut..
