Is there any program out there that will save the online levels and maps that
you just played so that it doesnt have to consistantly D/L the same huge maps
over again? There was a program called Unreal cache editor or something that
converted the old unreal maps into ones that you could play in single player
etc..... Is there something like this for 2004?

He was (is) a great guy. I bought his cache cleaner simply to support a
"starving coder". Guess people move on to other things.

Nice, and thanks so much for the link. Its very fun to be able to play these
online levels with bots on your own so that you can get used to some of the
guns and controls. I used to be real good with the Old Unreal GOTY version,
but i havent done so well with 2004. My 11 year old kicks my ass every time i
play him, except for the Morpheus Deathmatch level.

I finally got around to installing from your link and it was Rob's. He
posted for a bit here as {Twist}Sharkiller. Really great guy and good
programmer. He helped me along when I was learning stuff. His blog dropped
off about a year ago so I guess he moved on. Wonder when we will finally get
the hint and do the same. Smile

There are many different ones. A google search will find you one in a few
seconds. Word of warning though: It's best to skip uncaching .u files. You
run the risk of the dreaded "version mismatch" error that wont allow you to
play a particular server's map.
