hi,
i've recently tried running UT2003 and i get this error;
UT2003 Build UT2003_Build_[2003-02-13_18.53]
OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 1705 MHz with 511MB RAM
Video: No Video
Assertion failed: sizeof(*this)==GetClass()->GetPropertiesSize()
[File:UnGame.cpp] [Line: 144]
History: UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine
i;ve got a gf3 64mb.
any ideas.

It looks like UT is not seeing your video card (the "no video"
thingy). Can you start UT in Safe Mode? (it's a menu option). >> Stay informed about: UT 2003 error |

no i cant.
it comes with the option to download drivers, from cd or website. (which i
dont need), as i've played the game fine with the current drivers.

yea, thats wat i tried.
it comes up with some options, i click run, and i get the error screen.

If you're getting the "assertion failed" message when trying to start
in safe mode, then you probably need to reinstall UT.
Does everything check out OK in dxdiag? Start/Run and key "dxdiag" in
the run box (without the quotes). Pay particular attention to the
"DirectX Files" and "Display" tabs.

i done the directx tests, and checked the boxes, it all working properly.

Multi-Rider Land Vehicles - How do you get bot teammates to join you in a Goliath or any other vehicle. I know you can honk the horn for the Hellbender to have a teammate join you in the vehicle, but that does not work for the other land vehicles. Please help. Thanks.
USB Joystick Issue - Does anyone know why UT2004 will not recognize a USB joystick? I installed a Lgitech Extreme 3D Pro and I cannot get the game to recognize it when I try to configure the controls. I have no trouble with my Microsoft Sidewinder (parallel port) but I have.... |
