| I do not miss Ion storms, at least not in the way it was in v3, it was
very bad for cloaking races, and lacked a feature to dock ships to
starbases to not being dragged around.

I miss them a lot. You had to beware of them and still couldn't evade
mayhem completely. I want more uncontrollable surprises like these in
the game. The Aliens were fun, too. And best of all were the meteors.
They were like Christmas presents. If the neighbour got a bigger one
flying towards him, you felt jealous.

Unless of course, a big one hit one of your major worlds, in which

Ion storms were a great thing in V3, I just can't believe they were put on
the back burner. We want Ion Storms and Meteors. The Meteors should come off
of exploding planets, maybe ion storms as well...

I tried this. My ally built me farms on my homeworld, which had
terraformers. But the IMT farming range is exactly 50, and planets'
temperature tends to wander a little, even with terraformers. I set the
terraformers to 50 and got food once every 2 turns, on average.

Yes... what about with a ship that has Heater/Cooler? Pay 1 fuel get
up to 255 food for a race that cannot farm. If that is what the IMT
crew want that is fine, but stating the IMT cannot farm is not

yeah tthey cannot farm. they cannot build them, they dont have green
thumbs, what they do have is the ability to hire someone with a green
thumb to place farms on thier worlds. and with the fuel cost of a
terraformer to maintain the climate. so they can beneft from farming,
they just cant do it themselves.
but the drawback for this race remains the same, if the game is setup
