You're screwed unless you use the cheat mode. There's a second candle in
a box underwater along the beach on the east side of the Isle of the
Avatar, but once you go back into the Abyss, you can't get back out.
Apparently the game only will move you out of there once - LB's still
down there and goes through the exit dialogue again, but then the game
stops instead of letting you go.
You'll need to bind one of the following commands in your default.kmp
file:
spells_0-2
spells_3-5
spells_6-8
After that load the game and DROP EVERYTHING!
That's every last item you're carrying or wearing.
THEN, and only then, use the cheat command. That will reset your
inventory to the beginning of the game, fill your spellbook with the
spell level range in the cheat, and add the quest items, including the
Sigils.
Then you can pick up all your stuff. Note that these cheats will cost you
all your current gold and arrows.
