Kumano for removal, and since most/many angels are not legendary, kiki-jiki
might be good. Would love to see the decklist, as I have a couple angels but
not really enough to have put together a deck yet.

Arguably the best T2 Angel, Pristine Angel, is sometimes immune to
Kiki-Jiki. It has to be tapped to get Kiki'ed, and if you tap it to declare
attackers, it's too late to copy it in time for the token-copy to attack.
Not that it kills the whole deck, but most decks are simply better with a
4/4 flying untouchable...

True, but Kiki would allow you to attack with the Platinum and still have a
great blocker which could kill nasty first-strikers and such. Not optimal,
but an option if the opponent doesn't have nasty fliers and you're stuck using
the Platinum for blocking.
If you splashed blue, you could use something like twiddle, psychic puppetry,
puppeteer, or dream's grip. But that's kind of klunky

Anyway, since Angels tend to be expensive, some creature slowdown would be
nice: Cage of Hands, Ghostly Prison.

Blessed Breath would be on-flavor, but I don't think it's that great, however,
if you're looking for things to splice... Candles' Glow can be nice: gain life
& safe a creature

Reciprocate is a great removal tool, and Indomitable Will can come in handy;
at least it has in my limited Samurai decks.

enjoy.
