20 Heartfire

Eventually we made it back to Sadrith Mora and on to Tel Mora.
Another mushroom town built by Telvanni wizardry. I cured Lette, and
then went to do some shopping. Daynali Dren had grandmaster alchemy
equipment. I bought some, including an extra retort that Big Helende
wanted. I gave my old masters mortar and pestle to Julan. His skill
is better than mine, but I do not know if he is inclined to use it.
Nearly everyone mentioned there were smugglers on the coast around Tel
Mora. I suppose they are trying to get me killed, but are being
polite about it. It was quite late when we'd finished off the local
thugs and cliff racers, so I paid for a bed at the Covenant.

21 Heartfire

We woke way before dawn, so I paid one of the locals to improve
Julan's armor skills. Then we took the ship to Vos. It seems he is
well known at the Varo Tradehouse, as he lived in the area and visited
often. Perhaps I'll find out more about him while we are here. I
bought my companions a round of Matze, then headed off to plant that
crystal seed at Tel Vos. While I was trying to find a way into the
towers, we were distracted by a gigantic tarantula. Since a guard
cast a bonewalker and rushed forwards, we stayed back to avoid hitting
someone who might not be very understanding about an errant blow.
While we watched the fight, a black widow snuck up on us and
attacked. I think that was planned.

While trying to find our way in Tel Vos, we came upon an interesting
passage in the Jail. But, we would have needed levitation spells to
return if we jumped down, and I am not very good at levitation. All
right, I am not any good at all at levitation. All right, I have
never actually levitated. But, in principle, I know how the spell
should be cast.

In the service tower I found a craftsman, Geth Sandrim, who would
train me in fletching, woodworking or sewing. I did not want to take
the time to study just now, but made note for later.

It was dark when we got to Dagon Fel. So we just released the last
crystal seed and headed to The End of the World. Sarnik, who
professed to be just a clerk there, marked many places on my map.
Vongvild offered to take me many places. As I just wanted a bed, I
declined.

At dawn, we took a look at our map to decide where to go. As the boat
went to Khuul and Khuul looked close to Ald Velothi where we could
catch a boat to Havish to tell Valerai we had finished planting those
mysterious crystal seeds, we decided to take the boat and head towards
Havish. The journey went pretty well. Except for getting an
overpowering urge to meditate when those renegade ashlanders attacked
us. And accidentally shooting Julan when he stepped between me and a
rampage Nixhound. And having the soul trap spell flick my dagger back
into my hand just as I was casting Heal Companion.

23 Heartfire

We arrived at Havish just before dawn. As I'd gotten no sleep on the
boat, I cast some restoratives spells to get through the day. I sent
Julan and Constance to Ald-ruhn, as I'd heard rumors that Valeria
didn't like companions. It was just as well, for I picked up a quest
from the Mage's guild that was a bit difficult to accomplish. Let us
just say that I got to practice how fast I could drink healing
potions.

After that, I was quite tired and decided to buy that house just to
have a nice place to rest. Which bloody well took the rest of the
day. Stupid ghost.

24 Heartfire

I've decided to run a few errands before heading to Ald-Ruhn to pick
up Julan and Candice. At Wolverine Hall, I stopped to see that smith
fellow, Ignatius, again. He told me I might be able to uy and anvil
at the East Empire Company in Ebonheart. I'd intended to train at
fletcher some, but got distracted and forgot to do so before I took
guild transport to Ald-ruhn to pick up my companions.

25 Heartfire

We had picked up many errands in Vivec and Ebonheart, so we guilded to
Vivec. I decided to try collecting some souls in the Tomb in the
Foreighn Quarter. I got several bonewalkers, ancestral ghosts and
rats. And practice in casting Restore Strength, Restore Endurance and
Restore Health. Lots of practice. All in all, it went well enough,
and I am looking forwards to having more gold in my pocket from the
sale of the gems.

26 Heartfire

Spent the day running errands throughout Vivec and Ebonheart.
Branaldus Tarran at the East India Company thought he could find me an
anvil. He wanted 1000 gold in advance. Perhaps I was a sucker to
give it to him. Anyway, he said to come back in a week. The big
problem is that he told me an anvil weighed more than I can
carry....even if I strip bare. Hmm, I'll think of something. Maybe I
could have about 20 rings of enhance strength made?

On the way back to Vivec I stopped at the Food of the Gods
restaurant, Marianne, the proprietor, has written the two cookbooks
that I use. She says she is working on another. I picked up sugar,
salt and onions as I always seem to be short of those.

One of the errands I picked up included taking Yshyp's Tales to
Pelegiad. So we left Vivec earlier than I'd intended to try to get to
Pelegiad before dark. Hmmm, I think I may start a book-delivery
service. Vvardenfell seems to need one. It was only after we'd
delivered the book and Almisivied back to Balmora Temple that I
remembered I needed to collect some willow anther for the Cult. Blast.
