Hello, I enjoy playing Championship Manager 2001/02 very much, but I'd
like to know what the "trick" is in order to get players to stay. For
example, I'm playing with Real Madrid and I'm already into my 7th
season with the club, but players want to leave even though we have
won the league every season and they have played 90% of the games in
each season.
Yet they refuse to sign contract extensions, they want to be transfer
listed, they want new challenges, etc.
How do I get them to sign contract extensions? >> Stay informed about: Trouble convincing players to stay |

If I remember correctly, in some cases it helps to free-tansfer them and
sign them again.
But if the player has something against you, it's water under the bridge >> Stay informed about: Trouble convincing players to stay |

you probably won't be able to.
you'll always get players who get bored being at one club, even if
you're winning things.
