I need some close up pictures of the back and inside of a Tron upright.
The rear pics are to build two doors from scratch as well as do some
major wood repairs. The inside pics are for proper monitor mounting,
hardware locations and wiring harness routing.

Still need some pics... I need some close up pics of the back doors.
The cabinet I am rebuilding does not have any so I have to make them
from scratch.

Also, I am in doubt as to the color of the cabinet. I know it's black
but is it matte, flat, semi gloss, gloss, vinyl covered????

I painted mine a semi-gloss black latex paint. Came out pretty nice.

Can anyone shoot me some pictures of the monitor bezel area and parts.
I do NOT mean the big surround that the MCP cone shines through, I mean
the actual plastic bezel with smoked plexi pieces that go on top of the
monitor screen. How do those things attach to the monitor so they
don't slide around? I think I'm missing some pieces in this area. Then
manual doesn't really show them.

Any info would be appreciated.
Regards,
Tom Cloud

There's a bezel and plexi over the monitor? Send me the pics also.
I'm restoring a Tron but all I had to start with was a stripped out
water damaged cabinet.

I have extensive pics another collector sent me of the back doors. They
are big though, do you have an ftp site I can upload them to?

Hello Daniel,

That's how I got mine also, a stripped out empty cabinet. Well, there
was a bezel in the pile of stuff I got with it so I assumed it went
with the game. Maybe not? Could be why it only sits on the face of the
monitor...?

Got the game all put together and working then sold it because I
couldn't turn down the money - 2 years ago. Regretted it ever since.
Then I was able to buy it back last month at 1/2 the price I sold it
for because the monitor went out. Now I'm going to finish restoring it
- new artwork, find missing pieces such as this and so forth....

Still looking for some pics if anyone can help.
Regards,
Tom C.

Wow! One of the RB crew! Unfortunately, I don't have a publically
available FTP site any more...I used to but got tired of fending off
the hackers. Do you think Kevin would host them for a day?

I've seen the web site. Door pics aren't very good.

I have a manual on the way, but most manuals don't have very detailed
cabinet pics.

Rush? My time frame is dependent on the weather. I have to cut new
sides and want to do it only in warm dry weather since I want to do it
outside. I created a full size template of the sides with all of the
holes and grooves laid out.
