I'm sending in my box to get either fixed or replaced. Is there any
way I can transfer my saved game data to my pc and then reload it back
to the xbox just in case they send new one or loose my saved data.
I've never linked them up before so I'm not sure what alls possible
when linking.

Running windows xp sp2

TIA,
DS

Xbox or Xbox 360? If it's the 360 it's easy. You take your hard drive
off and only send the console in for repair/replacement.

Are they even still repairing Xboxes anymore?

The instructions I got with my return box had me remove both the hard
drive and any custom faceplate.
