How long do you guys wait after you offer items/nps for trade? I can't
stand the people who offer and then withdraw a minute or two later (not
exaggerating, for those who don't frequent the TP and think I'm crazy, I've
got screenies of this annoying practice- I don't even get a chance to see
the offers or check prices on all their items sometimes!). But now I have
made offers and they're sitting waiting for replies for 4 and 5 days. I
don't want to be the one who pulls an offer too soon, but what do you guys
think? How long should I leave my offer there before withdrawing? Is there
some kind of etiquette for this?

I will leave the offer up until I log off for the night, unless it's
something I REALLY want (i.e. for my Korbat Kollection.)

Oh. So I could cancel my offer after 4 days and still be polite I guess.

Always make sure they have been on in the last 24 hours if you pull a trade
offer after 48. Sometimes people don't check their accounts for a week or
more. Then again, when I make bids, I always try to get the newer ones on
the trade post... I check how recently they have been online.

Uggghhh...I get that too. I cannot be on Neo 24/7 due to school. I
have put "Do not withdraw" in my trade wishlist, but people still do it.

I tend to leave my offer until I know it's been rejected or accepted.
What I despise is when I get online, I see an offer for a lot, like
it and the next event is it gets withdrawn. I like to see -all-
offers on a lot of mine so I can decide what's worth it to me. >> Stay informed about: Trading question |

I'll put the time (NST) and date of my decision right in my wishlist.

That's a great idea! If I ever have things to trade again, I'll have to do
that. I see people write "best offer in 10 minutes" but 10 minutes from
when??

Yeah that is good. I trade mostly secret lab maps and I tend to just take
the first person who offers close to what I want. I'm impatient, I suppose!

If not for the CGers, I think the advice to check whether the user has
been online recently would be excellent! If they have, withdrawing
after 48 hours is good - else, withdraw after a week. Is there any
other way to check?
In addition, what I don't like about the trading post is stupid offers,
like junk for a Lab Map when I want to trade for Dubloons. >> Stay informed about: Trading question |
