Post subject: Track IR4 Pro - just ordered

Based on the comments of some here, I just placed an order with Natural
Point, for the Track IR4 Pro.
I am upgrading, from my current Track IR3 Pro w/ Vector.
I did not go with the new Track Clip Pro addition, mainly because I do not
usually wear a headset, and it appeared it would delay shipping due to high
demand. Figure I can just add it later at some point if I find I think I
would need it.
I ordered it with 2 day shipping, I don't know how long it takes NP to ship,
hope they can get it right out. Would love to have by Christmas, but am off
next week also, and at least I will have some time then to spend with it.
I am looking foward, to see how improved it is, over the Track IR3 Pro.

Btw, had an email from Natural Point about an hour or so after placing the
order, they already had it scheduled to ship today, with tracking number.
Now that is service!

I was gonna say watch the legs when opening them as you don't want to do an
'Old Bloke' and break them

Was gonna ping you today to see how you were getting on with TIR4.
Are you getting used to it? and more importantly are you enjoying it?
Are you using it with FS9 or FSX?

Advice on Track-IR - I think you folks have convinced me to at least try Track-IR. Crash Lander's videos really illustrated the smooth pan ability of it. The use of the hat button gives jerky movement at best. Now In looking at the models, it looks tempting to go for.. |
