It seems that there are lots of die hard Track IR fans here. I have seen a
parts of a few movies (I have dial-up and 130MB is a whole lot for a modem)
and I love what parts I have seen. I have not seen any movies of cam use
though. Can you tell me what the advantages are over a webcam and software
set-up? I have heard of cam2pan and I'm sure there are others. Can TIR zoom
into VC as well as look around? 30 fps dosen't scare me. I lock FS9 to 35
anyway just so MegaCity will load faster.

I want Track IR but I'm cheap and realistic. My new laptop will have a cam
built-in and has a AMD Turion 64 X2 (dual core 64 bit).

So sell me.

Andy

As Crash Lander said, yes. It simulates the body/head movement very
accurately. If you lean close, you'll zoom in to the cockpit, or
whatever you lean toward. If you lean forward and raise up you can
look over the cockpit just with the prospective as being in a real
cockpit leaning to look over. If you lean to the left and look back,
it resembles looking out the window. You can actually look and see
things behind as if your head is stuck out the window.

The precision is uncanny.

Ok, ok OK! I want one. Too bad that Father's Day is over and Christmas is so
far away. Then again, maybe I could buy myself a birthday present, really
early.

Thanks
