Archived from groups: rec>games>trading-cards>jyhad (more info?)

Constructed Tournament
March 25, 2006
8 Players
2R + F

Multideck rules.

We had a small turnout for this event, but two of the players were
brand new! After a couple of good multideck rounds, the final table
looked like this:

Dan (Tzimisce wall) (new player!) ->
Bryan Bradbury (Followers of Set stealth and vote) ->
John McGlynn (me) (Toreador Eagle's Sight w/ guns) ->
Amber Thom (!Malkavian Kindred Spirits) ->
Tim Bentkowski (Daughters of Cacophony Choir)

Bryan, who came into the final first, got squashed between two walls
with pretty hefty combat. I was able to keep his Setites from ousting
me, but never seemed to have enough Eagle's Sight and intercept for
Amber. Tim was also caught between two walls -- Dan blocked all his
offensive actions and Amber always had intercept around when Tim tried
to gain pool with Consanguineous Boon or Enchant Kindred.

Amber was the only player who wasn't thoroughly demoralized, so she
ousted Tim with little trouble. She eventually won a fantastic
stealth-intercept war with Dan's Tzimisce. Bryan, whose minions were
all in torpor, stole my Colin Flynn with 3 blood, Blood Doll and .44
Magnum via Form of Corruption. He hung in for a few turns against the
!Malkavians but as soon as I ran out of Eagle's Sight, he was a goner.
The final game timed out before Amber could crush yet another wall
deck.

Final Standing:
Amber Thom 3.5 VP
John McGlynn 0.5 VP
Bryan Bradbury 0 VP
Tim Bentkowski 0 VP
Dan (Forgot his last name) 0 VP
