It sounds fairly sound. Good luck, Sir. Besides Imperial Army, Tyranids are
my group. As you know, they are hard to get off of you, like flies, when
close and personal. Anyway, good luck, will like an action report. There
will be an outtake or two obviously!

Now I know what bothered me about this army! The combo of Tzeentch
and Nurgle... It just makes me cringe to see an army made primarily
of those two gods' troops.

I was actually thinking of commenting on how that army would probably
get tanked by most people on comp. It's an effective build, but most
effective builds are going to be hit up anyway if you've got that BS
scoring system in place, so you might as well go for it all.

They're practically just like the various Units available in other
slots:

Which Units' abilities justify their costs?

And Obliterators!

Cult Troops turned out to be overpriced or underpowered. As to the
rest -

HQ - No good choices
Least unsatisfactory HQ: DPs read like Sorcerers without pistols, but
immunity to ID.
AFAIK, the Stature question is still officially unresolved.

Elites - Chosen
Dreads and Possessed are ridiculously unpredictable. Termis take a
distant 2nd place.
It was a happy coincidence that kept Obliterators from competing for
these slots.

Troops - CSM
MoK = Fighty, MoU = Shooty. Cult Troops are a judgement call for Cult
players.
Daemons are *right* out.

Fast - Raptors
MoK Raptors are nice. The more costly Bikers are in 2nd place by
default -
Spawn are laughable as a FA choice.

Heavy - Obliterators
Havoks and base Preddi Ann tied for 2nd place as the least
objectionable alternatives.

The new dex seems to sell four standout Units pretty strongly:
Chosen, Marines, Raptors and Obliterators.

IMO, these, and a stupid HQ Unit, should form the core of every CSM
army.
