Are we speaking of this year only? Also, are we weighing buginess of
the program in the overall rating?

Why don't "u" type like this and give stupid responces to people to
show them how stupid "u" are?

Or should that be "u" r?

I'm lazy, I can't type out the whole word you, I rather type u.

Were there any flight sims released in 2005 at all? I cannot think of any
certainly nothing noteworthy.

Falcon 4 Allied Force
Battle of Britain II (full of bugs though)

Those are the only two worth mentioning.

Noteworthy was the word I used, Allied Force can hardly be that as it was
regurgitated from an older sim which should have been what it is now in the
first place. BOB2 in view of its bugs is not noteWORTHY, certainly
noteable, again it is a bit of a regurgitation.
Happy new year.

Is everyone forgetting the best? Lock-On Flaming Cliffs... I'll be the
first to admit this is what the original should have been but regardless
it's here now and is a terrific sim despite a few small bad design choices.
The community has filled any voids nicely in the meantime.

It still takes one hell of a rig to run full glory though. Ive heard poor
optimizations but I really can't comment on that.

It is of course only an add-on/improvement not a stand-alone game. I am
looking forward to getting this one at a mere $15 and utilise my TrackIR 4
to its fullest. I fail to understand peoples criticism of Lock-On, I find
it very immersive and certainly a more so than the Flanker sims which went
before.

It wasn't even considered because of its copy protection.

Both of these were regurgitated games but still standalone games. Allied
Force is the best release over the last year and the only one I bought.
Others I cant say (because I didnt buy them!) - I cant remember anything
worthy of note. BOB2 was rubbish and the original is far better to play and
will cost you a lot less. Otherwise there havent been any other flight sims
other than that F18 Korea rehash thing that came out that isnt really worth
mentioning.

A disappointing year for gameplaying generally I would say - loads of FPS
and RST games but practically nothing else. First year I actually havent
bought much at all in the way of computer games in fact. Hope 2006 sees a
resurgence in Space Sims, Flight Sims, Driving Games, Strategy Games etc and
less rubbishy FPS and RTS games but somehow I cant see it happening. If it
wasnt for Ebay and the internet I wouldnt be using my computer at all these
days.

Rant over.
