Post subject: Tim Continuum
Archived from groups: alt>games>vga-planets (more info?)

I think I am being attacked by Tim Continuum in a Tim Host VGAP3 game. I
have registered disks and installed the game in 3 different directories
for 3 diff games, one a PHost game. Only one game at turn 37 is causing
problems so far. Minefields disappear, but still ships hit mines (no Ion
storm), cash and minerals cleaned off a ship in flight and traveling in
a safe area has 83% damage and off course though no mines hit and no
vcrs, ships ordered to move do not. Intercept set from different ships
to get a freighter 2.03 light years from my planet but it never falls
into the gravity well and ships never move that are set to intercept it
or to move to the same x,y even.

The game may have been installed from a HD directory with all the
registered disks archived files in one place to avoid swapping disks.
Could that have done it? Three game directories on one computer?

I made a new directory to play from loaded from the disks only and will
put future RSTs in it to play but will that fix the problem? Does anyone
know? Or does Tim Continuum keep on attacking once it started even if
you reload the program? Sad
